Project: Paradise Centre

This project is a 14 storey residential tower sited on the existing two level retail podium of the Paradise Centre in Surfers Paradise. A total of 26 apartments in a mix of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom configurations are contained in this relatively modest tower on the edge of Cavill Mall. The tower is designed as a composition of sculpturally distinct, yet interconnected architectural elements which emphasise the slenderness and verticality of the overall form. An angled cantilevered roof plane which is orientated towards the beach creates a dramatic and memorable top to the building. Construction is concrete, steel, aluminium and glass, the exterior finished in white, grey and silver with selected elements emphasised in bright yellow.
