These two courtyard houses are designed as luxurious and spacious single level houses based on an open plan configuration which maximizes the use of their site in a secluded enclave in the golf course.  The houses were composed as a pair and planned to maximise privacy between them. The designs are environmentally responsive, providing a choice of natural ventilation or fully ducted air conditioning.  In their organisation of space, the houses reflect both traditional and modern values.  Private areas are comfortable, well proportioned rooms while the social areas comprise free flowing open space visually connected directly to the exterior. Outdoor living areas are treated as a series of outdoor rooms.  Fully glazed walls bring the exterior inside as well as extending the interior out into the garden.
